Cape Cod weather can be a fickle beast, one minute shrouded in winter's chill, the next basking in a delightful spring surprise. Thankfully, the past week has graced us with sunshine and warmth, a welcome change that coincides perfectly with the reopening of our beloved Sandwich Bazaar!
Forget the winter blues, because spring antiquing season is officially upon us! Estate sales are popping up, yards are overflowing with forgotten gems, and the hunt for unique treasures is back in full swing.
Speaking of treasures, green has been a dominant theme in my recent finds! From the bustling aisles of the Sandwich Bazaar to a quick Vermont expedition and a cozy estate sale, a vibrant wave of emerald, jade, and olive tones has swept into my shop. As a self-proclaimed green enthusiast, I couldn't be more thrilled!
Stay tuned for a closer look at these gorgeous green finds and get ready to embrace the (almost) official arrival of spring on Cape Cod!
From Marimekko iittala green votive holders, a gorgeous brass mounted Mary Gregory Glass vase (sold) , 6 blown glass napkin rings, and two vintage classics - The McKee Jadite Green Bottoms Up Cup and The Empoli Green Cat Decanter from the 1960s.
Such great spring time green and classic and wonderful pieces! Hope your spring is off to a great start!
